Someday ... I took so much heat from the so called critics back in 1984 when Coming Attraction was finally released .. they all said
"someday" was only on this record to get air play ... duh!!!???
there was nowhere in CCM radio at that time that played anything else but this style of song ... I knew that ... unbelievable ..
and sure enough ... this was the big hit on CCM radio ... and helped to keep me on the road another few years ..
i guess the critics of that day would have preferred I get no air play
and die the death of the uncompromizing artist ... screw that ..
personally I never thought like that .. and because the way the record ended up... this was no longer the last song I wanted in wrapping up the whole record ..
this song ended up somewhere in the midlde of the 1984 release and out of place I thought. it's the last song again .. back where it belongs in the right place ...
I used to host a Christian music show on Sunday nights at my college radio station back in 1981-1985 and this album was in my collection and a personal favorite. Several songs were requested frequently by listeners. Favorite Song: I loved them all, but Again and Again would be my favorite. jkoonce

This album is all about the human condition and our very human, fallible relationship with the world around us, as well as our ever so tense imperfect relationship with a God who the world has turned into a politicized parody of himself.
"We are madmen and we are children with a lesson to be learned/we are sitting in the ashes of the bridges we have burned/we are hoping and we are praying, we are holding to the claim that he's coming back to meet us between the glory and the flame" sums it up falling_stars
